  • What a wonderful workshop! Nature couldn't have been any nicer to us. Seeing the Aurora 5 of 6 nights. Each night from the first got better. Marc is a WONDERFUL instructor and very patient with all participants. He has so much knowledge to share and explains it with great ease. Not only his knowledge of the Aurora, but also with Lightroom. Is knowledge of Lightroom is at another level. He works with ALL participants to make sure their needs are met from camera settings, software experience and to the hot chocolate each night. Taking his workshops is an opportunity not to be missed!

  • Chasing the Aurora with Marc truly exceeded all of my expectations! Marc ensured that everyone’s needs were met throughout the week. He has a deep knowledge of many different cameras and his editing training approach was extremely helpful. He knows Lightroom inside and out and can explain clearly why, when and how to use any of its features. And he made it fun to stand in subzero temperatures for hours! I will definitely join Marc for another photography adventure!

  • I've traveled for Aurora workshops to several locations over the years and the diligence, skill, and the tiny bit of luck had during "Chasing the Aurora - Fairbanks, AK" surpasses them all. Marc and Vince created a great vibe during their workshop and provide a great opportunity to learn more of the science behind chasing & photographing the Aurora. Saw the Aurora every night we went out!! I highly recommend this workshop to anyone interested in hanging out with like minded folks in the middle of the night in Fairbanks while enjoying some laughs and watching the skies come alive.

  • I think the mark of a great workshop is if a participant asks themself this question- and answers in the affirmative. “Would you do this workshop again?” My answer is a resounding- “Yes”…I can tell you that when I tell people about the workshop, they tell me, “I want to go too.” In other words, I loved it, and yes, I want to go again. Not only did I see the aurora every night we went out, but I learned so much while I was in Alaska. The fact that the group was able to see the aurora every single night is a testament to how committed you were to having a successful workshop for all of us.
